How it works
From address to intelligence.
A CLOAK scan takes a public Solana address and returns an explainable report of what the ledger shows about it. Here is exactly what happens, and what does not.
What a scan never needs
- Private key or seed phrase
- Never
- Transaction signature
- Never
- Spending approval
- Never
- Custody of assets
- Never
01 — Onboarding
Two ways in.
PATH A
Paste an address
Enter any public Solana address — your own, or one you are about to interact with. Nothing is connected and nothing is signed.
PATH B
Connect a wallet
Phantom, Solflare or any Wallet Standard wallet. Connecting only shares your public key to fill in the address — no signature requests, no transaction approvals, no spending permissions.
CLOAK will never ask for a private key or recovery phrase. Inputs that look like one are rejected before anything is sent.
02 — The scan
Five stages, streamed live.
- 01
Establishing Connection
Validates the address, rejects anything that looks like a private key or recovery phrase, and opens a scan in live or demo mode.
- 02
Retrieving Public Activity
Fetches a bounded window of recent public transactions and current balances from Helius, page by page.
- 03
Mapping Transactions
Normalizes every transaction, drops dust, attributes swap legs to venues and maps the wallets you actually transacted with.
- 04
Analyzing Exposure
Builds Wallet DNA, derives exposure signals with their evidence, and computes the CLOAK Index — or reports insufficient data.
- 05
Generating Intelligence Report
Assembles the CLOAK Intelligence Report and streams it to your browser.
Progress is streamed as each stage finishes real work. If a stage fails — a provider timeout or a rate limit — you see which stage and why, and can retry.
03 — Reading your report
The CLOAK Intelligence Report.
- CLOAK Index
- A 0–100 exposure index with its band, the share of weight that could be evaluated and the basis for every component.
- Exposure Signals
- Findings ordered by severity, each with confidence, evidence transactions, a stated limitation and a recommendation.
- Trace Map
- An interactive graph of observed transfer relationships, with the transactions behind every link.
- Wallet DNA
- Activity by hour and weekday, cadence, program habits and trading behavior.
- Evidence
- Recent transactions with signatures so any finding can be verified on a public explorer.
- Export
- Save the report as PDF through your browser’s print dialog, or download the raw JSON.
Read signals as observations about public data, not conclusions about a person. Every finding states its limitation.
04 — Modes
Live and demo.
Reads real public data for the address you enter, through Helius. Results reflect the analyzed window at the time of the scan.
Runs the same engine on a fictional wallet generated from a fixed seed. No provider calls are made, and every screen is marked DEMO DATA.

Your history stays with you.
Analysis history
Kept only in your browser’s localStorage. CLOAK does not keep an account or a server-side record of what you scanned.
Clearing it
Clear your history at any time from Settings in CLOAK Terminal, or by clearing site data in your browser.
Server caches
Short-lived in-memory caches avoid refetching the same public data. They expire on their own and are not a history.
